Most of you have either been dragged to the theatre with your significant other or are boycotting the craze altogether; either way, it’s affecting your life and you don’t know it! Here’s what Sex And The City has to offer you, as a man: 1) This movie teaches by several examples how love can conquer all; although Carrie and Big have been together for ten years and botch their relationship at first by attempting to tie the knot, by the end of the film, they realize they are each other’s soul twins! No matter what the two characters have gone through throughout the duration of the movie, they realized they needed each other. Sometimes you, as a man, have to take a step back and realize that your crazy other half really completes you! Let’s look at Miranda and Steve’s relationship, shall we? Steve felt like he was being blocked out of his wife’s life, and was being ‘deprived’ in the sex department - and therefore, cheated. It is NEVER okay to cheat on your partner…EVER! Love finally came through, however, and brought these lovebirds back together in the end. The lesson here is, is that love takes work and go to your partner when you have things on your mind. 2) Sometimes single women have to be single and cannot be tamed…ever! Take Samantha, for example. She took on the role of manager for her boyfriend, Smith, after falling in love with him and going bi-coastal. After their five year relationship and several hardships, she left. She said, and I quote, “I love you, but I love me more.” When this happens, fellas, realize it’s not you that was at fault, and let her go. 3) Let your partner have her “girl’s night out” and don’t hold her back. You cannot ever come between a girl and her friends, so stop bitching! Smith, Samantha’s boyfriend, mentioned that Samantha was flying out to NYC more often than not and look where he wound up…single and on the other side of the country! - If you haven’t seen the movie, I suggest you do … if not for entertainment purposes, you may learn a thing or two -
